Chalet Vieux Bisse is a picturesque period Swiss chalet built in 1961. Set away from the road, it offers an amazing view on the valley.
The Chalet was originally built as two apartments, but they are currently used as a single home. Reverting to the two apartments would be very easy to do, as the layout has remained unchanged.
The entrance is located on the first floor; a hallway opens into the principal reception room. This has generous proportions that make it comfortable yet spacious. South-facing panoramic windows provide uninterrupted views of the landscape.
Additional rooms on the first floor include a study, TV room and a guest bathroom. The master bedroom is also located on this floor. This has an en-suite bathroom, extensive cupboard space, and a sauna.
Above the reception room, on the second floor, are two double bedrooms and two bathrooms, one of which is en-suite; with an adjoining low ceiling storage area.
The ground floor has a large dining room, again with pleasant southerly aspect. French windows open onto the garden which is surrounded by pine trees to create a private outdoor space. Also located on the ground floor, there are two double bedrooms and a bathroom. The kitchen has a separate larder and ironing room, plus a staff double bedroom with its own bathroom. There is a separate ground floor entrance to the chalet next to the kitchen.
On the lower-ground floor there is a large double bedroom with views to the mountains, with an en- suite bathroom and a further guest lavatory. There is also a cellar, a storage room and landing area.
There is a second chalet cottage with two floors by the entrance to the property. The upper floor, level with the road, provides a garage with space for two cars. Below it, there is a large open room with French windows.
This can be used as playroom, gym area or could easily be converted into a guest cottage with a double bedroom and bathroom.
